We are partnering with other churches in Fayette County to participate in local youth recreational basketball leagues! Details about the league, as well a registration link can be found below. Any questions can be directed to Recreation Director Hunter Burriss by emailing hunter@fayettebaptist.com
DIVISIONS
If necessary, teams may be coed. Upon signup, please indicate the age of your child AS OF August 1, 2025.
- 4-5 years (coed)
- 6-7 years (coed)
- 8-9 years (boys)
- 8-9 years (girls)
- 10-12 years (boys)
- 10-12 years (girls)
- 13-14 years (boys)
- 13-14 years (girls)
DATES
Games will be played on Saturdays beginning at 8am. The season will run from January - February 2026.
PRACTICE
Practices will begin in December, and take place weekly on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evenings. Each team will have 1 practice per week. Practice schedule will be announced as dates become finalized. All Fayette Baptist practices will take place at Somerville Methodist Church.
COST
League cost is $65 per athlete. This includes jersey and league fees.

OTHER DETAILS
Upon signup you will have the opportunity to request players and/or coaches that you would like your athlete to play with. This request is not guaranteed. Coaches are needed! If you are interested in coaching, assisting, or helping with any team, you can indicate this upon signup or email hunter@fayettebaptist.com. There will be a coaches and parent meeting on November 10th. This is a community wide league, and we will be competing against other recreational league teams. Signup deadline is October 26.
