MidWeek times - 5:15 meal, 6:15 classes/ministries
The 2026 Spring MidWeek semester kicks off on Wednesday, January 14 with new classes and ministries! The kickoff meal will be a chili bar, drink, and dessert at a cost of $3.50/meal at 5:15pm. You can find more details about each class below, as well as ministries where you can get involved and serve!
Our MidWeek meal begins at 5:15pm, and classes and ministries kick off at 6:15pm.

MIDWEEK CLASSES
  • BETTER TOGETHER MARRIAGE CLASS (Coed Class) // Our family and marriage class will be co-led by two couples, and will focus on equipping husbands and wives to love and honor their spouses according to scripture. Topics will include managing expectations, conflict resolution, making peace, intimacy, finances, and more. Led by the Kaspar and Price families.
  • FOUNDATIONS FOR EVERY BELIEVER (Coed Class) // Study through "What Every Believer Ought to Know" by Adrian Rogers and learn how to strengthen your faith. This study reinforces the fundamental points of Christianity from the Word of God. Led by Jeff Krag and Toni Garner.
  • BETTERMAN DEFINED (Men's Class) // BetterMan Defined is a follow-up series built on the 11-week BetterMan Core Curriculum. This study is a deep dive into the key principles of Biblical manhood through workbook study guides and group discussion questions. We recommend that everyone who took part in Betterman Core continue this study with us! ($20 cost per person due on day 1. This covers the 2 books used during the study.) Led by Greg Smith and Scott Sartin.
  • SCHOOL OF MINISTRY (Coed Class) // Registration for the 25-26 School of Ministry is closed. Students who completed the Fall Semester will continue through the spring to finish the School of Ministry training. Click here to learn more about the School of Ministry. Led by Drew Murphy and Pastoral Staff
  • GLORY REVEALED: MEETING JESUS IN JOHN 1-15 (Women's Class) // John’s eyewitness account of Jesus is an invitation to meet the God-man, to witness His power, to hear His teaching, and to know life in His presence. Our Women’s Class is a study through John 1-15 that will help you discover what the beloved disciple experienced—Glory Revealed. ($10 cost per person due on day 1) Led by Katie White, Laurin Stanford, and Tauny Emery.
  • FOSTER THE FAMILY:FOSTER AND ADOPTION SUPPORT (Coed Class) // This class, part of the Love One More Ministry, will read through the book "Foster the Family" by Jamie Finn. This class will provide Biblical Teaching, resources, support, and other information for families interested in OR involved in fostering or adoption. Led by the Newman and Applegate families.

MIDWEEK MINISTRIES

  • COMMUNITY OUTREACH GROUP // The COG serves our community in a variety of ways each week, such as meal delivery, apartment ministry, evangelism, and more.
  • SOMEROAK OUTREACH TEAM // This team ministers to the SomerOak Senior Living Center in Somerville by spending time with the residents and leading in a time of devotion and prayer.
  • CARE MINISTRY // Minister to others in and outside the church by writing cards, making phone calls, sending emails, or visiting recent guests and members.
  • PRAYER TEAM // Spend the Wednesday night MidWeek hour in prayer with other members of the prayer team. Lift up our guests and members and pray through our church prayer guides. (Must be a member of Fayette Baptist. Please contact julie@fayettebaptist.com if interested)
  • KITCHEN MINISTRY // The kitchen team serves in several ways, by preparing meals, serving food, and cleaning after our MidWeek meal. This ministry has an urgent need for volunteers.
  • MUSIC AND MEDIA // Serve on our worship team or in our choir by singing or playing an instrument, or serve on the media team in a variety of ways, including audio, video, slides, and more.

NEXT-GEN MINISTRIES

  • PRESCHOOL MINISTRY // Serve in our preschool ministry by taking care of our kids from babies to PreK5! 
  • CHILDREN'S MINISTRY // Kids ministry volunteers teach the Bible, play games, and worship with ages K5-5th grade. 
  • YOUTH MINISTRY // Our youth worship together in song and Biblical teaching, followed by late night games and activities.
  • FAYETTE YOUNG ADULTS // FYA meets on Tuesday nights at 6:30 for Bible study and worship, as well as fellowship with other Godly young men and women.
