Have you been thinking to yourself lately, “It sure would be nice to have a BBQ Sandwich while watching a game of 9 Square”? Ponder no further! Because we’re having a picnic on May 17 from 5:30pm-8:00pm, and GUESS WHAT?! We’re going to have those very things available for you. But wait. There’s more!

We’re also going to have a Cornhole Tournament, our Annual Egg Toss Competition, Volleyball… so many other Yard Games–we don’t even know how many at this point. The number is simply not known to us. But wait. There’s more!

Our True Victory Athletics Basketball Team is gonna get on up into our Food Truck, and they’re going to make sure you can have a plate of BBQ Nachos and Burgers and Hotdogs and that BBQ Sandwich you’ve been dreaming up… It’ll be there! But wait. There’s more!

We encourage all of our Lifegroups to set up a tent and hangout with each other–bring your neighbors and friends. Everyone, just get ready for it. I mean: There you’ll be with your best people. Hotdog in one hand. BBQ Sandwich in the other. You’ll sit in your favorite, most comfy lawn chair beneath that beautiful star-spangled infinite. Music whispers the holy praises of Jesus into your ear beneath a music-bed of children laughing and people playing games, and your heart and soul find refuge in that space and time wherein no animosity and strife are allowed–all by the provision of the Holy Spirit’s presence….

THAT’S a picnic. I want to be there. You should come, too.
