MIDWEEK CLASSES
  • BIBLE BREAKDOWN: GENESIS (Coed Class) // The Summer Semester of the Bible Breakdown class will be an in-depth look at the book of Genesis. Genesis is the foundation of the Bible, and provides key details that help us understand the rest of scripture. This class will explain the history and theology of the book, and help us understand why it matters in our lives today. Please note, Bible Breakdown is an ongoing class that will take place each semester, over a different section of scripture, with the goal of studying through the entire Bible over the course of several years. Led by Kevin DeWitt, Rudy Reed, and Hunter Fyffe.
  • FOUNDATIONS FOR EVERY BELIEVER (Coed Class) // This class, which studies through “What Every Christian Ought to Know” by Adrian Rogers, is a look at the basic truths of Christianity. In this class, you will explore topics such as finding God’s will, resisting temptation, and salvation, and you will also hear practical teaching and explanation on how to read and study your Bible, how and why we pray, what it looks like to be part of a church. Led by Jeff Krag, Toni Garner, Lonnie Coomes, and Cameron and Jessica King.
  • BETTERMAN CORE: WORK AND WORLD (Men's Class) // BetterMan Defined is a follow-up series built on the 11-week BetterMan Core Curriculum. This study is a deep dive into the key principles of Biblical manhood through workbook study guides and group discussion questions. This semester, we will look at the “Work” and “World” studies and learn how to approach these areas of our lives as Godly men. We recommend that everyone who took part in Betterman Core continue this study with us! ($20 cost per person due on day 1. This covers the 2 books used during the study.) Led by Greg Smith and Men’s Ministry Team.
  • EXPERIENCING GOD (Women's Class) // God wants to have a personal, intimate relationship with us. His desire is to reveal to us His will, character, and plan for our lives in many ways. When we learn to recognize the ways that God is working all around us, we can experience Him in a better and closer way. The ladies class will study through Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby. The Experiencing God Bible Study book is available for $15. The book is optional, and will be helpful for the class, but is not required. You are encouraged to attend, even if you don’t purchase a book! Led by Joy Devins, Jennifer Stafford, and Christy DeWitt.
  • PARENTING KIDS IN A CHANGING CULTURE (Coed Class) // As parents, we live in a world where the attention and hearts of our children are being pulled in many directions. As culture changes, it is vital to equip ourselves as parents to point our children to Christ. This class will help parents learn to lead their children of all ages, from babies-young adults. Led by Drew Murphy and other church leaders.
  • GOD ADOPTED US FIRST (Coed Class) // Join our Love One More Foster and Adoption Support Ministry as they read through “God Adopted Us First” by Alice H. Murray, a former adoption attorney. Through the true stories shared in this book you will see how God’s love for us and our adoption into His family are reflected through the foster and adoption process. Please note - you do not have to be involved in foster care or adoption to participate. This is the perfect opportunity to learn more from those with experience. Led by the Newman family.
