As we prayerfully seek God’s direction about starting a biblical counseling ministry in our church, I want to share about an exciting upcoming opportunity with you.
The 2026 ACBC Annual Conference will be held locally this year at Germantown Baptist Church in Germantown, TN! This conference would be a wonderful opportunity for us to learn, grow, and prayerfully consider how we might establish a biblical counseling ministry within our church.
The Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) is committed to equipping churches to minister God’s Word faithfully to people who are facing the struggles, questions, and challenges of life. Attending the conference would give us the opportunity to hear from experienced biblical counselors, learn more about the biblical counseling movement, and gain a clearer understanding of what it could look like for our church to develop this ministry.
If you have an interest in biblical counseling, discipleship, helping others through difficult seasons, or simply learning more about how our church can faithfully minister God’s Word to people in need, I would encourage you to consider attending. I would love for us to learn as a team and prayerfully discern what God may be leading us to do.
