MIDWEEK CLASSES
- RE-ENGAGE MARRIAGE MINISTRY (Coed Class) // Re-Engage is a discipleship ministry for couples looking to strengthen their marriage. This ministry provides a place for couples to grow toward oneness with each other and with God through small groups, teaching, and marriage testimonies. It doesn’t matter if your marriage is in crisis, healthy, or somewhere in between. Re-Engage is designed to lead you and your spouse to a great marriage in Christ. Led by the Kaspar family with other small group leaders.
- FOUNDATIONS FOR EVERY BELIEVER (Coed Class) // Whether you have been a Christian for 5 minutes or 50 years, you often need a reminder of the simple truths of the Christian faith. In this class, you will study the book “What Every Christian Ought to Know” by Adrian Rogers, which clearly lays out foundational principles of Christianity. You will also hear practical teaching and explanation on how to read and study your Bible, how and why we pray, what it looks like to be part of a church. Led by Cameron King, Lonnie Coomes, and Tracy Shinault.
- BETTERMAN: CORE (Men's Class) // Men live in a day and time where it isn't clear how they are to work, play, love and serve. Conflicting messages tell men to lead, while others say get out of the way. Men need a definition of manhood, one that is timeless and authoritative, and they need a community to unpack and apply that definition. Younger men need older, wiser men to help them on this journey. This class will feature Biblical teaching on manhood and table groups for discussion. ($10 cost per person due on day 1) Led by Greg Smith and Men’s Ministry Team.
- IN HIM: EXPERIENCING THE RICHES OF CHRIST IN EPHESIANS (Women's Class) // This study will look through Paul's letter to the church at Ephesus and help us understand the inheritance that we have in Christ. Through Jesus, we have the strength and encouragement that we need to live for Him. (This class has a cost of $15 due on day 1) Led by Joy Devins, Tauny Emery, and Katie White.
- BIBLE BREAKDOWN: EXODUS (Coed Class) // Exodus is a story of how God redeemed His people. As you study how God rescued the Israelites from bondage in Egypt, you will see the character of God as He leads them through the wilderness and into freedom. Bible Breakdown looks at history, theology, and application for our lives today. Please note, Bible Breakdown is an ongoing class that will take place each semester, over a different section of scripture, with the goal of studying through the entire Bible over the course of several years. Led by Kevin DeWitt, Rudy Reed, and David Sharp.
- SCHOOL OF MINISTRY (Coed Class) // The school of ministry is a 2-semester course for anyone interested in gaining knowledge, experience, and coaching in ministry. Pastor Drew, along with other church staff, will lead students through a variety of in-class and outside of class assignments, all with the purpose of deepening your understanding and helping you grow in your ministry experience. Please note, there is a 2 step process to register. You must sign up via the MidWeek link, AND submit a copy of the School of Ministry Application form.
