Part of the mission and vision of Fayette Baptist Church is to develop and raise up leaders for ministry. We have been blessed to see many called and prepared for ministry over the years and we desire for God to continue to do that work throughout our church. That is why we are launching the Fayette Baptist School of Ministry & Internship program this February!
The School of Ministry & Internship will focus on 3 primary areas: Knowledge, Experience, and Coaching. Pastor Drew, along with our other pastors and staff, will be providing those 3 things through weekly classes, online assignments, and ministry responsibilities throughout our church, where you will be cross-trained and equipped in various areas. Classes will take place on Thursday mornings from 5:30-6:30am at the church.
This program is for those who may be sensing or praying about God using them in a greater capacity in ministry, whether that is vocational or as a volunteer. There is no age minimum to be involved, but you must be willing to make this serious commitment and have transportation available to be in attendance for all classes and ministry times. The school is made available for free, as we will be providing all of the resources and materials needed.
We are accepting applications throughout the month of January. Applications are available at the INFO Wall and are also attached to the link below. If you are interested, please fill it out and return to our church office or a collection box. We will follow up with you on the next steps after that. The program will begin in February and end in December with a graduation ceremony in a Sunday morning worship service for those who completed the program faithfully.
