WHEN: June 1-5

TIME: 6-8:30pm

WHERE: Fayette Baptist Church

WHO CAN SERVE?: Anyone in 6th grade and up. (6th graders must serve with a parent)

HOW CAN YOU SERVE?

Class Leader

Lead kids from class to class throughout the VBS time period

Class Assistant

Help supervise and assist the class leader throughout the evening

Recreation Team

Organize, coordinate, and play games with the kids! (Recreation will take place outdoors)

Cook Team

Prepare snacks for the VBS kids each evening in our kitchen'

Music Team

Lead students in song and motions during our group sessions and teach songs during the music class time

Decor Team

Help design decorations and prepare our church for our VBS theme, "Breaker Rock Beach"

Setup Team

Set up the church sanctuary and classrooms for VBS activities on Sunday, June 2nd

Teardown Team

Remove and clean up following VBS on Thursday night

Skit Team

Be part of the VBS skit acting out Biblical truths through fun skits for kids

Nurse

Remain on standby throughout the week if any medical help is needed. Medical background required

Check-in Team

Greet kids as they arrive each day and help them get to the right place

You can also sign up to serve wherever is needed! We will have 2 mandatory meetings for volunteers on April 28th and June 1st. If you need childcare for preschool-aged children while you serve, childcare is available. 

Children's Director Hunter Burriss will be in contact with each volunteer to give them any necessary details as we near VBS!
